New Orleans has an opportunity to show the league that they are back to their old form this week, when they take on the 2-0 Houston Texans at the Superdome. The Saints are offensively scary, averaging 429.5 yards of offense and 32 points per game. Drew Brees has been hot to start the season, and the only reason why the Saints are 1-1 is Aaron Rodgers. The Texans have a tough D with a lot of good pass rushers, but not much of a secondary. Look for an all out air raid by the Saints.
On the other side of the ball, Arian Foster is uncertain for the game, but youngster Ben Tate has been running hard and looks as if he isn’t much of a downgrade. The Texans offense is also explosive with top WR Andre Johnson, and TE Owen Daniels as a red zone threat. This game could turn into a serious shootout with all of the offensive talent on the field. The New Orleans D needs to make one big play in the game to help out Drew Brees’ offense. I see it 38-31 Saints.
